rubigirl photography was created out of my desire to capture special moments for my friends and family. i found so much pleasure in it that i decided to make a career out of it. i shoot in a photo journalist style as i love candid shots and feel it is the best way to capture a moment. the name rubigirl photography was born out of my love for my dog rubi. when she looks at you with her big amber eyes you know that you are the most important person in her life at that moment. i feel the same way when capturing a special event or time in a person's life, you are the most important person in my life at that moment. if you would like to contact me for information you can email me at RubigirlPhotography@gmail.com

jennifer

i've said this before and i'll say it again. i love my job. it allows me to spend time with friends, old and new, in the coolest parts of austin. this is my friend jennifer. she's revamping her website and needed a photo of herself to go on it. jennifer provides counseling in such areas as anxiety, depression, grief, body image and others that require a caring listener, which she definitely is. so, we headed downtown to the second street district. i have to say i'm a little naive when it comes to ACL fest. i thought for sure downtown would be far enough away that parking would be no problem. yeah, wrong. after driving around for 20? minutes jen suggested city hall's garage. perfection! the second street district is now one of my favorite locations to shoot in austin.
