About Me

Austin, TX, United States
rubigirl photography was created out of my desire to capture special moments for my friends and family. i found so much pleasure in it that i decided to make a career out of it. i shoot in a photo journalist style as i love candid shots and feel it is the best way to capture a moment. the name rubigirl photography was born out of my love for my dog rubi. when she looks at you with her big amber eyes you know that you are the most important person in her life at that moment. i feel the same way when capturing a special event or time in a person's life, you are the most important person in my life at that moment. if you would like to contact me for information you can email me at RubigirlPhotography@gmail.com

erin

i've had many opportunities to photograph erin's children, and this session was no exception, but this was the first time to photograph erin herself. she's such a natural beauty and i think the camera loves her. she needed some photos for her upcoming pregnancy book being released by guideposts in early 2011. i was honored to be asked to take these.

baby c

baby c was seven days old for his session, so sleepy and cute. i loved using the hammock, all we had to do was swing it a couple times, add to that the warm morning and he was out. we ended up with some really sweet brother shots as well that i just love.

the p family

what a sweet family, and baby A was so comfortable in front of my camera. she is 3 months old and so precious. she and mommy gave dad a big scare right after she was born. it such a blessing to have all three healthy and glowing for our session.

victoria + jacobs e-session

i was just looking back through my blog and i realized it's been a while since i worked with adults. it's nice to break out of a pattern and throw in something new. it was really fun working with victoria and jacob. we hit a couple special places in town to them, and a mural i've been dying to work with as well.

brotherly love

the first trimester of a pregnancy can make it tough to run around and photograph two little boys. i have to say i was pretty exhausted after this one. but, they were super sweet little boys and i love the photos we got.

endres family

second time around with the endres family. i love how easy they are to work with. we were in and out on this session due to a wedding at mayfield park. the kiddos have really grown up in the last year. take a look for your self.
